From 50 families in 1956 to more than 2,300 members today, the Bengali Association Singapore (BAS) celebrates 70 years of community, culture and togetherness.
Marking this milestone, BAS@70 – Shikorer Theke Shikhar (From Roots to Pinnacle) celebrated the Association’s journey, the generations that have shaped it, and its vision for the future.
From Durga Puja and cultural programmes to youth initiatives and community outreach, BAS continues to preserve Bengali heritage while building connections across generations.
