Durga Pujo was held on the ground between Owen Road and Burmah Road. It was inaugurated by the High Commissioner of India in Singapore, His Excellency Jawed Ashraf. Festivities were inspired by the concept of “mile sur mera tumhara, to sur bane hamar,” highlighting cultural and racial harmony in Singapore and India alike. With its theme of cultural integration, the Pujo was attended by BAS members and non-members alike and there was a multitude of performances by our talented members as well as external groups.
