Durga Pujo & Confluence 2018
Dugra Pujo was celebrated on the ground between Owen Road and Burmah Road. Celebrations were inaugurated by the High Commissioner of India in Singapore, His Excellency Jawed Ashraf. By far, one of Singapore’s biggest cultural celebrations, it was celebrated by both BAS members and non-members alike, inside an air-conditioned tent with around 15,000 people in attendance over the 5-day period.
Confluence 2018 was a BAS-hosted event that ran alongside Durga Pujo celebrations. It celebrated Singapore’s racial, cultural and religious diversity, featuring different communities coming together in an unique manner to showcase their cultures and traditions.
