Migrant Workers Lunch

As a gesture of solidarity and community spirit during the Puja season, BAS organised lunch for 400 migrant workers on Nabami afternoon. The traditional Bengali lunch was sponsored by BAS (along with one of our members Dr. Asim Bag). 400 Lunch boxes were delivered to one of the workers’ dormitories and some BAS committee members were present during the distribution. Alongside, 500 Lifebuoy masks and sanitizers each sponsored by Unilever were also distributed among the workers. This symbolizes BAS’ continued commitment to integration and brotherhood with the migrant worker community.
